Sustainable Activities
Local community association + volunteers are working together to collect resources and raise awareness about recycling.
Once a month, the neighborhood association and volunteers, including children, collect local resources, sell them to a waste recycling company, and use the proceeds to fund local events, as well as to spread knowledge about resource recovery and proper waste disposal practices .
For the cans, we ask that you separate the iron and aluminum, and for those that are difficult to distinguish, put them in an aluminum bag and separate them with a strong magnet. The aluminum lids of the iron cans that you catch should be separated by hand. It's fun for both children and adults to catch them.
At the recycling facility, sorting is explained using Fleming's left rule.
Regarding paper, especially packaging, if it's thrown away as garbage, it's incinerated. However, if it's collected as a resource, it's reborn as toilet paper and tissue paper at recycling plants. It's also used to repair cracks in roads.
