Tanka

Dream rendezvous
The silky hair brushes against my cheek
The lingering scent of bubbles keeps the memory alive

Benika (Takinoue)

I don't want to forget. Even if it's just a dream. Because it's a secret feeling that will never come true.

Wet Maple
The footsteps are cold and trembling
I long for the crossing of the valley

Ebi Tenaga (Takinoue)

With tears still spilling no matter how hard I try to hold them back, I hold a letter to that person in my hand and step through the soaked maple leaves as I walk down the narrow path to the river's edge toward the valley. Is it the water's surface that sways there? Is it my heart? I entrust my feelings, which will never reach them and which might be best lost to the depths of the water, to the current. Suddenly, when I look up, I feel as if the valley breeze is filtering through the autumn leaves and carrying your scent. They say that male and female mountain robins sleep separately, separated by peaks. I miss you so much that I can even sense your presence in the valley breeze crossing the rapids.

Even if I laughed whimsically yesterday
Floating above the blink of an eye
Today's coldness

Ebi Tenaga (Takinoue)

〇 "Takinoue" is recited twice.

Withered and cold
Time and space fades away on the winter beach
Your face and past memories

Small cherry shell (Takinoue)

I don't even feel sad anymore . That's what's sad.

Hime Firefly
My feelings began in Minazuki
Caught in the tear-jerking rain, the mountain lilies in my heart

Kawakaze (Takinoue)

The rain that falls on Tanabata (the seventh day of the seventh month) is called "tearful rain." Even though it is still Minazuki, your heart is already racing and you are already covered in tears, experiencing the excitement of a new day.

Minamihi
Is it spring snow that fades away?
The warmth of our relationship is a lingering regret

Benika (Takinoue)

The spring sun is warm, but it also fades away.

Midnight Shadow
When I wake up, I hear the cries of the Kajika frog
My undying feelings flow like a ball

Benika (Takinoue)

This is a tanka poem that accompanies the short story "The Dragon God's Flute - The Only Waterfall" that was featured in the cultural festival . The murmuring of the Tama River still brings back memories of that time.

The vine leaves

Bright red and yellow are wet in the autumn rain

Our hearts are united, but my thoughts are all alone

Musofu (Takinoue)

The leaves of the many vines entwined around the tall bamboo growing on the north-facing slope of Kamanofuchi Park were also wet with the autumn rain, reflecting the feelings of unrequited love.

Spring is far away

A forgotten road in summer, at the rapids of autumn

I've been abluting myself and I miss the maple leaves

Musofu (Takinoue)

Before you know it, you notice the change of seasons. Even though the Tama River flows unchanged.
Sub-theme: Momiji (venison) hotpot with miso is delicious. I want to eat it again.

Kamanofuchi

Summer flowers are misheard

Sunset in the shade of a rock, dyeing the turban shells

Musofu (Takinoue)

Perhaps it's a remnant of the bustling summer. On the riverbank south of Kamanofuchi Park, the sallow shells are stained by the dwindling autumn sun.
