Drum Can Pizza Party
Pizza in a drum can and BBQ on an autumn Sunday sounds great!
A total of just under 100 people, including 60-65 adults and around 30 children, participated in the fun pizza party. Not only pizza, but also sausages, meat, and fish, which children love, were also served, making it a very luxurious event.
The homemade pizza dough made from flour was delicious and a big hit!

Nagashi Somen
We held a Nagashi Somen event on a hot summer day. We also had watermelon smashing and charcoal grilled meat, and it was a huge success with many people coming!

Drum pizza oven
Renewal
The pizza oven that was previously in use has been refurbished. It was actually a homemade oven made by the Bonfire Club.
I did a test bake in June. I set up a thermometer and tried out different baking methods, researched various things about chimneys, and experimented with the amount of firewood and baking time.
The actual event is scheduled for autumn. Stay tuned!
Pre-mochi pounding party
(The actual event will be held on January 14th.)
It has felt as if time has stopped since 2020, but various events are finally starting to be held this year.
This event was held as a practice for the resumption of mochi-pounding, and nearly 80 people came to the event. We had roasted sweet potatoes and takoyaki, and it was a fun day for the first time in a while.
January 14th is going to be a busy New Year's Day!

It started with a cherry blossom viewing BBQ.

Mochi pounding (white, grass, seaweed, millet mochi pounding),
Nagashi somen (using a homemade bamboo machine),

We started mainly in front of Takinoue Community Center.
Initially, the number of participants was around 20,
Now, even if there are 50 or 100 people,
It continues to evolve to the extent that it can be accommodated.
From the middle
With the cooperation of the Hayashi Ren and the Neighborhood Association,
Men and women of all ages,
Sometimes foreign members,
Even celebrities participated,
We all have a great time.
The majority of the participants are residents of Takinoue Town,
People from other areas, even just a little
